The Farm to Heart, Inc
About Us
Kristin Letsch grew up in Fairfield, Ct. Her Dad was a Fairfield Fire Fighter, who died in the line of duty. Her great Grandfather was in the Calvary and Kristin’s love for horses runs ‘deep’ in her blood. Taking riding lessons at the age of 8, Kristin was rewarded with her first horse at age 13 ( Rain Spirit) and with that, RESPONSIBILITY came, which she embraced. Kristin became a trail guide and gave lessons at the barn her horse was boarded and was able to pay for all expenses.Kristin had the opportunity to go to Horse Camps and found it to be a privilege to belong to the 4- H United States Pony Club, (USPC) completing many Horsemanship projects as a young student. www.ponyclub.org
“The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.”
Mother Terry ( Kristin’s Mom ) also worked with horses and exercised Paul Newman’s horse.
Kristin’s love for animals grew deeper and deeper. Her professional, extensive background + knowledge working and handling various animals is more than impressive.
She has been the proud owner of Pony Rides, LLC for 15 years and now Director of Farm To Heart, Inc. ( soon to be a 501 3 c – a not for profit organization) and is dedicated more than ever before to bring education, joy and wellness to people.
All animals live on the farm here in Connecticut, not accessible to the public yet, but plans are ‘work in progress’ for the very near future.
Kristin’s path was not an easy one she remembers, her love for animals and floral design. Working as a Floral Designer in Westport, Ct and Old Greenwich, CT. Kristin’s floral design worked with President Clintons Fund Raiser at the Inn At National Hall, Westport, CT and several other satisfied clients
